Steve West
Following a successful career in broadcast management at Seattle radio stations KJR, KISW and KXRX, Washington native Steve West has photographed the backroads of the state for nearly four decades.
His appreciation and view of nature stems from growing up on the Washington coast near the Olympic rain forest.
From the simple lines of landscapes or subtle imaginary in his abstracts, Steve’s photography reinforces the beauty of Washington State.
Even though Steve and I both were managers in Seattle radio, we became friends in the last few years of his life. I miss him and his love of photography and the energy he brought to the gallery. Steve lost his final battle with cancer, but his gorgeous photography lives on in my gallery. RIP my friend!
