📸 A Life Framed in Light and Sound 🎶
Growing up in a photographer’s household, I watched my dad disappear into the darkroom for what felt like days—only to reemerge with images that seemed to materialize like magic. It’s no wonder I caught the photo bug early. Summers were spent “fishing” with a borrowed camera, drawn not to the water, but to the thrill of capturing life through a lens.
For me, photography has never been just about taking pretty pictures. Wherever my travels have led, I’ve been struck by the quiet, profound beauty that surrounds us. My goal has always been to preserve those fleeting, breathtaking moments—the ones that make you pause, even for just a second.
Before all this, I was a rock and roll drummer and disc jockey through the late ’60s and ’70s, which sparked a lifelong love of music. That rhythm still pulses through some of my photography—and through the work of many talented friends I’ve had the privilege to exhibit alongside.
After a long and rewarding career in radio—on the air, in sales, and in management—I founded Woodstock Media Group / On-Hold Concepts, Inc., now nearly 40 years strong. We’re proud to be industry leaders, providing on-hold and in-store messaging and music to businesses of every kind.
These days, I’m still chasing light and inspiration. Whether traveling to new places or exploring fresh perspectives in post-design, the joy of creating has never lost its spark.
In the spring of 2021, I opened the Woodstock Gallery in Gig Harbor, Washington—just a short stroll from the home I share with my wife and our son. The gallery may be small, but it’s full of heart, showcasing my work alongside that of fellow artists whose creativity I deeply admire.
If you’re ever in the area, I hope you’ll stop by. Just search for Woodstock Gallery, Gig Harbor. We’d love to welcome you.
